About The Event

When the desire to be productive causes distress like anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, negative self-talk (shame/blame) - it becomes toxic. In this conversation, we will talk about the productivity paradox and toxic productivity.

We will also discuss some strategies and self care activities that will help overcome toxic productivity.

Israa Nasir is committed to making changes and finding creative solutions to the most pressing problems facing healthcare. She is a clinically trained psychotherapist, with over five years experience in community mental health and private practice. Her work and interest is in reducing the stigma around mental health, exploring the interaction between mental health and identity, and encouraging meaningful conversation around wellness. Currently, she works at the intersection of technology and healthcare, developing tech-enabled mental health solutions to reduce barriers to accessing care.

Open to all women, everywhere.

Attendees will be sent specific instructions to join our video call before the event.
